Registration and fees

COVID-19:  Due to the evolving situation GALA 2021 is going to be fully virtual.

Access to GALA 2021 will be granted through a discounted fee to the presenting author and free access will be granted to non-presenting participants. For each paper (full or poster), one author should register paying either a Standard or Reduced Fee. Therefore, each accepted paper with multiple co-authors should have a different conference registrant paying the fee.

Standard Fee for authors – 180 €

Includes access to the whole two-day conference programme, publication in the conference proceedings and a yearly subscription to the Serious Games Society.

Reduced Fee for authors – 130 €

Includes access to the whole two-day conference programme, conference proceedings and a yearly subscription to the Serious Games Society.
Reserved to Bachelor, Master and PhD students.

Non-presenting participant – Free

Includes access to the whole two-day conference programme and a yearly subscription to the Serious Games Society.

A number of virtual seats has been reserved for authors and co-authors until 15 October 2021.

Instructions for authors

Authors should upload the following material by the 24 September to Easychair system:

  • The revised camera-ready version of the manuscript in PDF
  • The source files (Word or Latex) of the camera-ready manuscripts
  • A separate document with the answers to the reviewers’ comments
  • A complete and signed Consent-to-Publish form
  • The receipt of the registration received after signing up for the conference

Authors should consult Springer’s authors’ instructions and use their LNCS proceedings templates, either for LaTeX or for Word, for the preparation of their papers. Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. The maximum length of camera-ready full papers is 10 pages, while the maximum length for a camera-ready poster is 6 pages.
