The International Serious Games Competition aims to celebrate the best digital games for learning in the world.
Organized by the Games and Learning Alliance as a friendly game contest, the awards are based on an analysis of the games by Serious Games experts.
The theme for this edition is Serious Games using innovative Human-Computer Interactions.
These interactions can be of various types: virtual reality, augmented reality, voice command, haptic devices, location-based games, etc.). Among the other criteria, the evaluators will therefore pay specific attention to the game’s Human-Computer Interactions and the way it fosters learning and makes the gameplay more attractive. Games with more traditional Human-Computer Interactions can also be submitted to the competition.
